(Had a search for a topic answering this but couldn't find it, I'm sure there must be one though ...)

Hey. I'm in the UK and used have Sky television. I've moved to a new place and it's not connected for Sky. I'm able to use my Sky box as a Freeview receiver though. Anyone know is there a way to show which are the freeview channels in a nice way (I was just scrolling through the standard Sky set last night and trying each one randomly). Is there somewhere online that keeps a list so I know it's channels 101, 103, 104 ... etc? I'm guessing they'd look prettier if I got a cheap freeview box instead (as I wouldn't see all the Sky channels that I can't really use). Hmm, maybe if I add them all as favourites or something...

This should probably be in the satellite froum but the only way to see the FTA channels EPG on a sky digibox is to make the FTA part of your 50 favourites and when you press the TV guide button you will get the option down the bottom of the screen for "Favourites", also while watching a channel if you press the blue button you can scroll through your favourites.

Create the favorites in "Services" 1st. You don't have to use up all 50 slots.

I'll try using the favourites from Services then to store them. Thanks. I'm probably doing something really n00bish so I should read up more, when I try Sky Three which is on the freeview list it asks for my Sky card. boo! Others look good though ...

Just because some channels are free on Freeview doesnt mean they will be free on satellite.

Sky Three is on the FreeSat list - it is one of the channels which needs a FreeSat card. The others are:

    Channel 4
    five
    five life
    five Us

"Freesat from Sky" originally "Free to View" or "Solus card". Once off subscription.

The BBC version of "Freesat" only has channels that works without a card. But the box is over a year late coming.

Ahh, thanks for clearing that up.

Looks like you get Sky Three, C4 and Five (plus Five US etc) for a once off £20 if you have the equipment already.
