    Hey There,

I work for a large Hedge fund administration company located in two locations in Dublins city center, Nass and Drogheda. They are having a big recruitment drive at the mo and have ask employees to spread the word amongst friends etc. That’s why in posting this.

They are recruiting fund accountants (and some Fund admistrators) at all levels. Salary starts at 27K for their graduate program, they also offer a decent benefits package including free lunches, decent bonus, pension, payment in full for professional accountancy exams and tuition, study leave, VHI and payment of 50% of gym fees.

The hours of work are 8:30 until 5:30 and you can expect to stay back later than this at least twice a month when deadlines have to be met. The company has a young casual friendly culture & job is ideally suited to someone with an interest in financial markets and accountancy. If you’re looking to tick away in a 9 to 5 this company isn’t for you.

Please bare in mind you need a minimum 2.1 degree in a business related discipline or an accountancy qualification.

So what’s in it for you as opposed to going to the company directly/through an agency? Well, ill talk you true the interview and honestly explain the ins and outs of the job. I can assure you that your CV will go straight to the head of recruitment, also there’s the added benefit that you will walk into the interview after receiving a personal recommendation.

Send me a PM if interested

I worked in a similar role and they used to offer staff €2,000 if they referred an employee.
€1,000 after they were hired and €1,000 after they passed probation.

I'm not doubting your motives and fair play for advertising the job but if you're taking sizable commisions for everyone on boards who signs up, maybe you should include that info.

27k? Far more than I started on.:(

I have no problem disclosing the refferal amount. Mine is actually slightly better than that, its 2.5k provided probation is passed. I thought it went without saying that i would be recieving refferal as most companies offer it nowadays. Its similar to fees recruitiment agencys get.

Hope that clears things up. Its a win win situation for everyone. :)

So do you actually have jobs open or are you just looking to make money off of boards?

    Whats the company name.

The OP can name the company if they want to. It's fairly who obvious they are.
Seems to be loads of jobs, I count 10 different roles on irishjobs.ie

Yes they have loads of jobs open, they are on every recruitment web site, advertising on the radio etc There’s a major recruitment drive at the moment

There are big advantages of going down this route as outlined above rather than directly or through agencies.

I know if i was moving jobs in the morning and I came across a proposition like id jump on it. Benefits for board’s applicants are

    A) Knowing you’ll be briefed by someone doing the job before the interview
    B) Knowing your CV will go to the head of recruitment straight away
    C) Having a personal recommendation behind you ( this counts for a hell of a lot)
    D) Knowing that any questions about the job can be answered correctly by someone actually doing it (you won’t get this from an agency)

Yes you stated that, but whats in it for boards? You arent doing this out of good will, you are doing this for your own pocket.

    Shouldn't this be on adverts.ie?

I don't think we should give the lad too hard a time - seems totally honest and upfront to me. The problem is every company does a scheme like this - including mine, and if we all threw up posts in here it'd be a madhouse. If it's free to use adverts to place these kind of adverts I think it should be encourages. 1 thing though, I don't think the companies name should be mentioned until the 2 individuals are in private communication.

    Just my 2c

I had a look at this forums charter before i posted anything:
    job advertising
many people put up positions that come up in their company. thats cool. i like the idea of funky boardsters helping out each other. good community spirit. but please, if you are going to advertise a job, try to make sure theres some basic detail. i have seen jobs advertised as 'job in support - pm me'
as you can imagine, you are going to be typing some long replies to peoples questions.
isnt it so much easier to give everyone the details the first time
so, if you have a job that you know of, or you are the person doing the recruiting (and i dont include agencies, you get your own mention down there \/ ) please add in info like
    -location
    -job spec
-any renumeration package (even if its just reference)
    -qualifications (or experience) prefered
it just helps everyone a lot more

    job agency advertisment
DeVore may disagree with me on this one, but i have no problem with any person from an agency who comes to me and asks if they can put jobs on this forum.
there are a few rules though
-jobs must be real, exist, and be gettable.
-i dont want CV trolling jobs.
-if i hear one bad report, you are gone, for good. not just from the work forum, but from boards.
-i want the same details as any other job poition being advertised
-you can asked to be PM'd on the job, or have people reply openly on the thread, but i dont want open references to your company. that means no email address's or web sites.
-dont annoy me, because im going on a limb here that boarders on Boareds.ie losing advertising revernue, and providing a service, if you píss me off, i will bite your ass.

I respect these boards & dont want tick anyone off but i think im within the rules.

Im not disguising the fact that there is financial gain in it for myself at the same time there is a good benefit to the community here, if a member was looking for a job in accountancy, hey presto heres a offer you wont find any where else.

I think it would be good if others did it too, but i can see how it might clog up the forum. Maybe if the title of the post began with something like:
    [Referral Offered] Accountancy Positions
This would mean that if your not interested, dont read and move on... anyhow just a suggestion.

Yes i think it best not to give out the company name (as per the rules)

    Anyone interested, please PM only

    Cheers
