Just wondering if anyone has done the Bank of Ireland aptitude tests (Verbal & Numerical reasoning & basic checking)

Is there normally many people doing them?
Are they standardised tests or are they specific to BOI?

I am doing one next week and just wondering if anyone has already done them.

    Cheers

I'm a pro at them, third time lucky worked for me :D

They're reasonable to do, the only problem is that you might be pushed for time so its advisable to go through the questions as quick as possible. I dont think you will have any problems TBH.

O BTW usually there is approx 50 - 75 people per session, but it depends on how many show up on the day. The tests are not BOI specific. Many companies use SHL to do their aptitute tests - examples can be found on www.shldirect.com, under the section practice and feedback.

Erm, from what I know those tests are based on how well you score. You have to answer a certain % of questions obviously. IF you're 75% into the test dont randomly tick the box as it will hit your score.

I agree but always be conscious of the time. If you dont know the answer to a question or cant answer it quick, move on and if you have time, come back.

I did them, but close to 10 years ago - they seemed the same as any of the other aptitude tests I have done.
