how to cut photos

    hey guys, can anyone tell me how to cut photos? i have several pictures that i want to edit to cut parts from the sides of them to make it more focused on the centrepeice, how do i do this? im using photoshop 7.0 -thanks

    If I understand you correctly, you want to chop the sides/top/bottom off?

    Use the crop tool.


    I'd also reccommend reading some basic tutorials, which can be found easily via google.

    Press 'm' to select the marquee tool.
    Select the area you want to keep.
    Select 'crop' from the menu, can't remember which one it is.

    Crop tool works better Sinecurea - You can darken the area to be cropped to see which works.
