    Hi,

I found out about the 'Moto Guzzi California Vintage', while looking in the Irish Times Motor Section a while back, and then went on Moto Guzzi's website and oh god is it a baby, a pure dream bike. The LAPD uses it; It's a beast of a bike, t'would have be if the Fuzz uses it; and its so nice on the eye!

I was wondering if anybody else has taken an interest in the bike...and if you haven't do so.

    Cheers.

the LAPD haven't used them since.........oh, that Dirty Harry film, with the rogue cop on it.............back when Clint Eastwood had, er, fewer wrinkles. A lot fewer! They currently use a lot of BMW R1150RT-P's and a smattering of H-D's (naturally). Currently evaluating R1200RT-P's.

btw, saw Duc Dublin's bike - fabulous, nice colour too, the trad black........it out Harley's a Harley.........if you get my drift...I know someone who has a Cali III with enormous mileage on it, highly recommended..........

Yeah, if I ever gave a proper though to getting a crusier that would be the california. Saw one in the flesh once and it looked amazing and fairly shifted too.

I've been planning on going in to Ducati Dublin to have a look at the Guzzi Griso.

It's a meter wide at the bars though right... you need an extra wide side gate. =]
