    to run a second computer off the NTL Broadband?
    Do I need to get a line splitter or what and is it easy to do?
    Both PC's Windows XP.

    Get a router and hook that to the broadband, then hook your PC's to the router.

    The router will basically talk to the internet on behalf of your machines and send the responses back to the correct machine.

    Although dunno with NTL. If it is a network cable you plug in from your machine it should be possible.

    This Linksys router should fit the bill. You connect the modem's cable to the WAN socket on the router [the one that's isolated from the grouped four] and configure it using a web-interface.
