    Tripod *** NOTE NEW VENUE - EXISTING TICKETS VALID ***

    Don't know how to amend my original post or the title, so just in case people haven't heard, the gig is now on in the Tripod as the TBMC probably won't be ready in time for the gig..

    Who's going to this gig - can't wait myself, especially after seeing pics of the stage show they're supposed to be bringing with them.

    I'm not really familiar with the Tripod - does anyone know what they're like with under-18 type people? It's just I want to go, and I'm able to get into the TBMC no problem, but I don't know about the Tripod.

    Sorry, don't really have a clue, never been there myself! Was supposed to go to some gig there (Saxon or Wasp maybe?) and it was moved to the TBMC as it wouldn't be open in time.. Strange that the exact reverse is happening for Therion. Supposed to be a nice venue though, so should be a great gig!

    Sometimes Tripod can put on underage gigs but if your ticket says 18+ and you don't look it you will be ID'd

    Hi;
    I´m from the Basque Country, and i´m going with two friends of mine to Dublin to see Therion´s gig. I´ve read TBMC and TRIPOD´s webs but there is not information about the show and we have not tickets yet. Can we buy them somewhere online?
    Thanks and forgive my bad english.:)

    You can buy them from Soundcellar on Nassau Street & Sentinel Records at the Central Bank.

    Lots of these gigs don't sell out and from what I've seen, most people pay on the door. Don't think I'll be able to make this myself :( as I have another commitment. Enjoy it!

    you will be able to pay on the door - the venue is big for a band like Therion playing here, but yeah as of last night anyway there was no fear of it selling out.........

    not really in the mood for it - but I'll be there......

    So, what did anyone think?
    I loved it, really great venue - clear view from most spots & very posh..
    If you stood under the balconies, the sound wasn't great, but in the crowd it was excellent. Although at times the guitars were a bit low & the bass was a bit too much. Overall though, I really enjoyed it & hope that they include us on their next tour.

    I thought they were excellent.Amazing voices blew me away.
    Sound was a bit ropey under the balcony ok. Good venue though.
    Seeing as yer man Christofer purchased a house in Cavan maybe there will be another gig on these shores.
    Best of all the band themselves really seemed to enjoy it!
