villain is 23/15/1.6, haven't been at the table long, I've been 3betting him a bit on my button. first time he's 4bet.

    UTG ($101.40)
    MP ($77.98)
    CO ($408.97)
    Hero ($184.50)
    SB ($85.17)
    BB ($161.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Jh Js.
2 folds, CO raises to $4, Hero raises to $12, 2 folds, CO raises to $34, Hero calls $22.

    Flop: ($69.50) 2d, 9s, 7h (2 players)
CO bets $40 Hero calls $40,.

    Turn: ($149.50) 9h (2 players)
    CO calls $334.97 (All-In)

I've like 110 or something left.

I think you really have to fold now, although knowing me I'd probably go broke as currently I'm a calling station with any kind of decent over pair/ TPTK!!!

Given the info it's a fold.

seems like an easy fold.pretty awful/unlikely spot for him to be bluffing given p/f action and stack sizes.

You're getting 3to1 but I think I fold here. He has KK minimum here I think

ok, I was the villain and had AA, and he stacked off with jj. i think it's a fairly straight forward fold. I do like my flop bet tho :)

i was hoping more people would advocate a call.

I suspected as much since we're all cold calling with TT/JJ thanks to Robin Lacey:)

with AA you should definitely check flop or turn

with the JJ, i would fold somewhere depending on flow of game, probably preflop - where i especially like to just call first time around with JJ

    maybe on flop.

if i didnt fold before flop i would call down

yeah, I think his pf play was bad. but he had been 3betting me nearly every round, so maybe didn't give me much credit.

I guess I could check the flop, but if I check the turn is he not likely to check behind?

i thought he's unlikely to fold to 40, leaving him less than a psb, and I can just shove the turn. 9h was kinda a good card i think.

getting into that spot with JJ is horrendous. I think 3 betting JJ preflop there with given history is fine. We do need to protect our hand somewhat against most tags ranges as they'll open any 2 broadways and Ax in LP everytime. Once it's been 4 bet, I think folding is best. Calling and check folding unimproved on a raggy board is difficult especially with history against the villain. I remember recently going broke in a similar situation with 77 on a 236 board against a guy with KK, simply becuase we'd been playing back at each other incessantly on 4 tables.

i think if you have been battling alot then sure he has to call pf and on the flop. but he has to give credit and fold the turn. i think check turn shove river is more likely to get looked up as a bluff here so i would use that line with a made hand

if i had AK or some non made hand and decided to continue for whatever reason I would shove turn
