    Hi!

Am looking for somewhere nice to holiday in Ireland. I guess what we're looking for as a priority is nice scenery and fun activities (eg. renting bikes, beach etc). Anyone have any suggestions?

Galway is brill, its got something for everyone. if u wanna do the whole scenery and kiking etc go to the outskirts of the city, like conemara, spidal or that region. the city has that during the day, bit diferent durin the night, bit of a young people central then! enjoy, galways gr8 :D

Donegal is excellent as is many parts of northern ireland. Kerry/Claire is also beautiful.

I remember going to Achill Island with my family when I was a young 'un - would love to go back. So, go to Achill :)

Ennis is a great town, good nightlife and only about an hours drive from Galway or 1/2 hour from Shannon airport. West coast and Burren is spectacular.

Mayo is very underrated. Amazing scenery, lots to do, friendly people and none of the ripoffs you get in Galway. You could base yourself in Westport for a few days and then Ballina for a few more.

    Another hidden gem is Waterford.

I liked Waterford, though small, completely enjoyable.
