Ha, I thought your sig was the tracklist for a second and was thinking that's not right.

It's a decent album, I need to listen to it a few more times though to properly judge it.

While I haven't a clue what 'experimental' Hip-Hop is supposed to be(does that mean its funny sounding of something?), the album is quite good, in particular the final three tracks.Lyrically very strong.Production wise it reminds of something an electronic artist would make, not Hip-Hop as far as I am concerned.

Is it a group or one person or what?

Is it Hip-Hop?.....yes !...hip-hop has always looked to other types of music for influence with samples and breaks ! be it Jazz, soul, industrial, folk etc .

They are a duo of a producer and MC Dalek and co-producer Oktopus, they been creating a hip-hop sound so heavy, so filled with droning distortion, its so far from the glitz of the boring mainstream "Money & Bitches "sound.
So it looks some people with have trouble with this new and interesting sound ..not me I have always liked hip-hop with an experimental side ,,from when I got my hands on the "The Goats" album in 1992

I haven't got a problem with their sound, quite the opposite,I just have a problem with people saying the sound is something its not and for that matter using vague terms like 'experimental'.

To my ears, the beats are electronic in nature not Hip-Hop.Most reviews I have seen agree with me.

Electronic music and Hip-Hop draws a very fine line sometimes though. Look at half of the stuff on Ninja Tune, could go either way.
