im after buying a point of view 8800gts and vista ultimate 32 bit aswell. when i started them up together, they were working in the hardware sense of things ( i have it working with xp pro at the moment no problem). but trying to find a driver that works for vista has proven impossible so far. ive tried drivers from everywhere, must have tried at least 5 different drivers which are supposed to work, every time after restarting, i get the 'blue screen', and then im forced to uninstall the driver in safe mode.

this is quite annoying as it is a direct x10 graphics card, therefore i need vista to run the direct x10 option, BUT THERE ARE NO DRIVERS!!!

please does anyone know wats going on or has any one had a similar problem???

There is nothing that uses Directx 10 yet except for a few tech demos.

nVidia released new beta drivers yesterday for which I posted links in this forum, did you try them?

Boot into safe mode go into the device manager and right click on the graphics card and select uninstall it may also offer a tick box to clean uninstall if so tick it and proceed.

Now boot back into Vista normally and try the 158.18 drivers that Auvers mentioned these are brand new only out yesterday.

If that doesn't work more info what kind of motherboard, RAM, PSU is in the system and does the event log record the crash and what does it say ?
