What does it mean to force the sale of a property? i.e. Private Dwelling
What rights does a co-owner have in relation to forcing the sale of a property?
How could this be done if the other co-owner does not agree to the sale?

There is a procedure available under the Partition Acts to do just that..

It depends on the nature of the co-owner's interest in the land to some degree, but a co-owner may be able to sell their interest to a third party (or to the other co-owner).
