PlayDock Z500 for Creative Zen Vision M

Hi, I'm looking to buy one of these. I saw them for €200 in HMV yesterday in Grafton Street. Anyone know where you can get them cheaper?

I've been researching these for a while now, and there's practically nowhere that does them. Creative europe don't even sell them, only US website ($229). Amazon.co.uk have them for 129 quid plus postage, so 200 is a pretty good price, although if you wait a while they'll probably go down/become more widely available. I was amazed to see them in HMV to be honest. By the way, I picked one up this afternoon so there's only one left in HMV now...

Thanks Ryaller, I know what you mean. After numerous internet searches, I've almost resigned myself to picking one up at HMV.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I saw these in Powercity yesterday for €179. I don't think HMV have any left.

That's the best price I've seen so far. Did you buy one? How do you find the sound quality?

No, I got one a in HMV for 20 quid more. It's brilliant though. I can now watch all my divx files through the tv without having to burn any more cds. And can ff/rew using the remote. Sound quality is excellent, although I'm no audiophile. The only issue I'd have is you have to plug a separate aerial lead into the headphone socket if you want to listen to the radio - I can't see why creative couldn't have put an internal aerial in. Comes with interchangeable docking adapters for the 30/60gb models. In the US you can get an adapter for the zen v plus (Mrs. Ryaller has one of these), which I'm trying to source. Brilliant piece of kit - well worth getting. Although it's not like we Zen owners have much of a choice is it?

€169 if you order online from them...only 1 in tallaght and 3 in bray left though

You can do that with an AV cable.
Roughly 10 euro off fleabay.

The playdock is mostly for allowing you to play your zen out loud!
