According to the Irish Independent weekend business 02 are seeking to increase per minute Lo-call 1850 charges as follows:

    Peak: from 4.17c to 16.74c
Off peak: from 2.54c to 9.32c
    weekend: 2.54c to 9.13c

This is obviously an outrageous price increase and makes the term 'lo-call' an oxymoron. I always attempt to find a geographical number as an alternative to being ripped-off and the 1850/1890 are charged in addition to any inclusive units in any given 'package'. In the UK there is a website http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php which is hugely beneficial for finding alternative geographical numbers - does such a website exist in Ireland?
