It doesn/t actually seem to be working. Put in my youtube url, selected MP4 and it has been "connecting to server" for the last 15 minutes???

keepvid.com lets you save it as a flash, then you could convert it with something like erightsoft super

that'll happen every so often on vixy.net - it's a very busy site. just leave it for a minute, click back and try again.

You could try downloading the video to your pc/laptop
and then convert it to an ipod friendly format.

I use 'Get Video' with Firefox and it allows me to download
any flash based videos from Youtube and Google video
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3516

It adds a button to the bottom of your Firefox browser, simply click it
and it downloads the video to your hard-drive.

Then I drop it into Super http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
which will convert the file into any format you require (Excellent utility for
converting videos to the poxy formats the PS3 and Ipod require.. would Divx
support be such a mare for these companies to support? ;)

I've tried the various on-line video converters and re-coders, it's much quicker
and easier to do it yourself.

XviD4PSP will convert any FLV video you have works a charm for flash videos, has an iPod profile built in and you will be able to play flash videos in Windows Media Player as well.
