    I'd go into that with your eyes wide open, eoin.

    A mate of mine has a P1800 and all sorts have gone wrong with it since he got it - mechanical & electrical. That seems very cheap. I wouldn't buy without having a mechanic look it over (one that would do the work as well!)

    Of course it could be that the problems are easily fixable, and it's priced to sell.

    Also be wary if the PO has been driving it on beaches!!

    S model was built in Sweden which is a good start (if it is an S...), E model even better but there you go. An awful lot of information online regarding known problems with each model so plenty of knowledge to arm yourself with before you go looking.

    Good advice; it's really just wishful thinking on my behalf at the moment anyhow - I'd be absolutely lynched if I turned up with another car at the moment!
