Exporting Distribution lists

I need to export a distribution list from an Exchange 2003 server using Active Directory. For some strange reason MS have over looked this little insight and failed to include a tool for doing it. Has anyone done this successfully before and knows of a way to export to an xls or txt file ?? Thanks K
