    I'm thinking of getting either a Zen V plus or an ipod nano both 8Gb, but can't decide. Which would be the better buy????

    There're both the same price on play.com so I'd go with the nano. I bought a 2GB model last year and its done a fine job.

    EDIT- they're even cheaper on komplett!

    To me the Zen V Plus would be a better buy - especially if they're the same price as the iPod Nano - as the Zen V Plus does everything the Nano does but also has an FM radio and video playback functionality which the iPod Nano doesn't.

    actually the zen v plus red is cheaper then the ipod nano - €216

    id say depends what u want, if u just want to listen to music and like the lokk of the ipod, then maybe thats a good choice, but for me i'd rather have features over the "sheek & sleek" look of the ipod.

    i'll leave the choice to you and add to more :p

    1 8gb, the other 4gb but 4gig sd card free

    see what you think;

    I wouldnt touch an ipod with a fecking barge poll!
    I had an iriver last year and it was excellent.
    was doing video over a year (without the song and dance of ipod) before the ipod finally caught up.
    now I have the cowon a2, best machine on the market by a street. record and playback straight to/from tv. built in speakers......... untouchable.
    creatives are good too, great company to deal with if U have a problem.

    I think the zen v 8gb is alot cheaper now in xtravision for some reason i recall 175 euro. I bought a creative zen v a few weeks ago and find it wonderful. Easy drag and drop system for mp3,radio,decent for recording lectures ;)

    I can't vouch for it in the long term but for now i'm more than happy
