Touch up paint for a Mercedes

    Hi,

    I have a couple of questions that I'd appreciate help with.

    1. How do you identify the paint code on a Mercedes? I think it might be 'Azurite Blue', but I'm not sure.

    2. If I figure out the code, is it possible to buy little pots of it from a dealer?

    Check paint codes against the one on your car, to be 100%. Never had a Merc but should be under the bonnet on a metal plate along with chassis no or in door jam.

    Most good motor factors would mix up same. Go get a little tin not a spray can or paint pen and apply with a toothpick (if its for stonechips).

    Main dealers can identify the correct colour code from their computer system just by giving them the chassis number of the vehicle

    As simple as that. Depending on the year of the car, dealers may be able to identify the paint code from the registration number.
