    Hi All,

First time poster , long time etc. etc. etc. :D

I purchased and paid for the equipment from airsoft-warrior.com last week.

I'm only new to AEG's and was looking for something cheap and good to start off.

Their web site seemed to be working and everything seemed OK.

    Order was :

    3 x 2000 BB's 0.12g in SPEEDLOADER (.12gbb2000po) = £14.97
    1 x NEW! PRO CYMA TARGET (targetpracti) = £7.99
    1 x CM25 - SD6 MP5 SD6 Style AEG (cm25sd6) = £31.99

Nothing arrived as yet , and from reading some messages posted here they are apparently in the middle of moving.

Anyone any update on whats going on ?

    PS. Did I buy a crock of sh1t ?

    Many Thanks,

    Many Thanks,

The short answer is yes. Anything earlier then the CYMA 027 is not really skirmish worthy. It'll do for plinking in your back garden but that's about it. Also .12g BB's are a bit light for play too. Outdoors they'll fly all over the place even with the lightest wind. Can't help you with it not arriving, I've never dealt with them but most places take more then a week to get AEG's here. It may be in customs at the moment.

Oh and welcome to the sport :)

    Thanks Fiach

All I can do is hold my breath and wait. Site is still down and emails are getting bounced back. Maybe it's a cheap lesson , but I'll wait and see.

At least I hadn;t spent loads of sheckels

    Thanks,

    A cheap lesson

The CM25 should be fine for QCB. I'm not sure how long it will last though. Lots of bad stories about the older clones. When it arrives, you'll have to try make it up to HRTA in Swords some weekend to try it out. It's a long trip from Gorey, but it would be worth it.

As far as I know the 025 has a plastic gearbox so it's touch and go how long it will last. With the much higher volume of fire in CQB I can't see it lasting too long. Who knows though, make sure to not fire it in long bursts at full auto, that'll extend it's life a bit.

Well, it should give you a good taste of airsoft anyway. You'll probably want something much fancier once it arrives. Start saving ;)

    OK Guys,

    Kit arrived Tuesday.

Impressive out of the box. Heavy enough feel to it. My 8 Year old son nearly wet himself. I only showed him and let him fire one burst with the goggles on, under close supervision. Then locked it in the attic.

First impression good , felt it lacked a kick, more of a plink plink when shooting on fully automatic. Not sure if thats down to the battery out of the box. I let it charge for about 1 hour.

Seems well made , not sure about the red-dot sight cross, seems a little botched.

Look and feel of the gun are good. Haven;t had a lot of time to spend with it , but will give it a good airing at the weekend.

Good luck with it, you will want to goto HRTA soon and then the fun really starts :)

Good to here. If you ever bring your son to a skirmish, make sure he has a change of clothes. :p

Good to see your taking the safety aspect so serious as well.

God Thank god I am not the only one. I have a cheap SIG 552 and my 8yo daughter was begging me for ages to try my MP5 but I felt it was to heavy. A couple of weeks ago my wife and I were talking about it and decided if was showing an interest in it why not let her use the Cheap SIG. So I got it out of moth balls charged the battery and routed out a couple pairs of goggles. Set up a few targets inthe back and she is actualy a good shot. Put rules in place though straight away, no goggles no shoot, never when I am not there and safty on when not in use. After the first few go's how ever, the novelty seems to have worn off and she has not been looking to use it since.
