    - check your graphics card fan is working ok.
    - take out your graphics card and check the air path through the heatsink is free of dust etc.
    - Reinstall your graphics card.
    - check your CPU fan and heatsink and system fans also for dust buildup.
    - U can check your graphics card and cpu temps and keep an eye on them while running video clips etc.

Probably the graphics card but try running memtest also to check the RAM

Sounds like a heat issue, Clean out all the fans in the pc. Especially the graphics card and cpu heatsink and fans. Compressed air is great for this.

Try doing what you normally do. If all is well , it was infact a heat issue (very common)

If it still does not work, take the side of the pc case off and try again. If now its fixed you need more fans. or more powerfull fans. Let us know how you get on.
