    Hi,
Any ideas about what these two should do?
Two Chilean women need accomodation for ten weeks while studying English in Dublin. Their currently in a hostel and hate it but are finding it very hard to find somewhere to stay.
Its probably because of the relatively short time their here.
Anyone know about student accomodation or ideas for short term accomodation?
They've tried daft etc but no luck.

    Hi,

it would be good to check with the univsities and see which ones rent out their student accomdation during the summer months, as far as i know most do... Also they should be coming available in the next few weeks as people move out...

Also the DCU web site recomends http://www.findahome.ie/

ucd and tcd both rent out student apartments in the summer months, not sure if the timing is of use.

try them, and the SU in both would have lists of accomodation via "digs"...ie staying in locals houses and renting a room.

There best option is to rent in somewhere like Kilcock. It will be very hard for them to get a ten week rental. Hostel life is not pleasant. For the cost of a taxi journey to Maynooth (could get a lift) they could travel in from Kilcock. Likely to be plenty rental accomodation available there.
Commuter towns with lots of rented accomodation.
