lieing about traveling

I am thinking of lieing at job interviews that I went traveling to explain a gap in my cv, you see I left a job 5 months ago because I hated it but I have done nothing since been very lazy, so I cant tell them the truth but I am afraid of getting caught out on a lie if they go into my traveling experiences in more detail?
