I have a 4GB ipod nano 1st generation and am having problems with it. Firstly since I bought it around 1 year ago the only way that itunes can see it is when the ipod is in disk mode. I have a 4GB ipod nano 1st generation and am having problems with it. Firstly since I bought it around 1 year ago the only way that itunes can see it is when the ipod is in disk mode.
I have reset it and updated ipod software and itunes but still it cannot see it. It operates fine in disk mode.

The next problem only started this weekend when charging and uploading music. I put the ipod into disk mode and uploaded music with no problem, ejected ipod through itunes. Disconnected from PC no problem. I then tried to get out of disk mode, it seemed to go to the apple front screen, black/white apple and then colour apple and thats where the it stayed.
It is just going between the black/white apple and colour apple all the time. I can go back to disk mode no problem, but every time I go back to normal the same thing happens, please help!!!
