In recognition of the good times we've had over the past month and a bit, how's about a boards.ie Cricket forum meet at the 1st Friends Provident match in Dublin, to welcome the boys back?

Thu May 10 Ireland v Gloucestershire, Castle Avenue, Dublin

There is the an eariler chance on
Sun April 29, Ireland v Kent,
Civil Service Cricket Club, Stormont, Belfast

If the North or a Thursday doesnt suit, how's about...
Sun May 13 Ireland v Essex, Castle Avenue, Dublin

Sounds good, is Castle Avenue where malahide play?

Castle Avenue is in Clontarf, and where Contarf Rugby and Cricket clubs play.

To get there, get the 130 bus from Abbey Street, the terminus of the route is a stones throw from the cricket ground. Fare should be €1.60 or €1.90

The Essex game would suit me best. Travel and time off work taken into account.

I'm hoping to make some or all of the above fixtures, but Real Life(tm) make intervene to change that.

Two games I will definitely be at are the Surrey game in The Oval and the Sussex game in Hove, 27 May and 28 May - anyone else going to be there?

would love to make those games in dublin but will be away....might sneak up to the first game in stormont but could be the worse for wear after watching the final the day before. now the double header in england might be an option. was great to hear nasser hussain singing trent's praises yesterday, he is such a great captain - sportsman of the year?
