Once again thanks for all the advice on my last shots. If I could ask another favour and get some comments/advice on the following pictures. I promise these will be the last for a while!! Thanks.

Picture 1: Taken last Friday night in Phoenix Park

    Picture 2: Rock of Cashel

    Picture 3: Liffey in February

I know I seem to get the over used sunset shot....but I do like them!

    Good work! However....

The first one looks like there are some points in the sky. If they have been made in photoshop, don't do that this way again :-)

Like em all, the dust bunnies have invaded the first one though. I love the second one long time, very atmospheric. The last one could do with having the horizon straightened though.

I haven't actually worked out how to use photoshop yet :o I know thats pretty sad huh!

Do need to clean my camera. But to tell you the truth Im a little nervous about cleaning it! But I can definitely see the dust in the pics.

Fantastic, love the colours in the Liffey shot. All well composed.

Very nice photos. My comments are a little less about technical quality as opposed to aesthetics. In the first one, the dog is being bi-sected by the tree which slightly spoiled an otherwise beautiful shot. The second one is great, but would look brilliant if you could have got the tree on the right higher in the shot to show more of it.

I took some time and I think that I would cut the branches on the right of the first picture.
The second is very good too, however the tree is useles.
And the third one? Perfect way to start having good night shots of Dublin.
I wish I had so beautiful pictures on my own.

    hey,

#1. I like the shot but I'm not in love with the people. Also have a look at burning and dodging in photoshop. (Basically these are brushes that allow you to paint pixels darker or lighter respectively) burning out the silhouettes would blacken the gray stripe on the girls coat for example.

#2. Great shot, well done! My only criticism would to have more of the pointy bit on the right most part of the ruins on the frame.

#3. First off read this. I'd like to see a larger version this looks kinda soft.

    Great stuff, thanks for sharing!

My favourite shot would be #1, very nice. #3 is good but it's a bit slanted, apart from that nice shots :)
