Hey, I'm a 21 year old bassist living in Dublin. I'm interested in joining a band. I mainly play punk rock, but i also like to play a bit of ska and some rock. I've been playing bass for about 5 years now. :)
i play both fingerstyle and with a pick. (not at the same time :D)

any bands lookin' for a bassist in dublin?

Hey, I'm in a band called Veto, we've been loking for a bass player for a couple of months now to replace our previous one. we've been gigging around Dublin for about 3 years, playing all original stuff, style ranges from bluesy to punky but mostly sounds like nice loud heavy rock, have a listen to some tracks from www.vetorock.com or myspace.com/vetorock and gimme a shout if you like what you hear you can pm me here or mail me at vetorock@gmail.com.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind. My hours are going to be better now when I get another, more regular job. I might be able to round up a drummer too, practice in the city somewhere. Brian?

I suppose it'd be hardcore punk kind of thing same as what we aimed for last time, try and accomodate everyones tastes as long as it isn't too far from punk/hardcore/whatever we're mainly doing.

I know a guy from salt lake city, he drummed in a hardcore band there for a good while but he hasn't played since he moved to europe (1 year almost) but he said he'd be confident that he would be back in the swing of thiings in no time. He has recordings on his mp3 player, I must get them off him.
