I know its evil of me, but it has to be what Ana Lucia gets it. She did my head in, i was able to breath properly again once she was disposed of :)

Tie between the first two options and then the hatch lighting up. Though I loved Ana Lucia dying. She was the worst character.

Maaaaake your oooown kiiind of muuuusic ... siiing your oooown specialll sooongggg...

I also like the part where Locke got thrun out the window. That was cool. Also anytime Locke shouted "I want my kidney back!"

    I think I secretly fancy Locke:rolleyes:

Close call for me between hatch lighting up for Locke and dude getting sucked through jet engine. It's not many serials you see those sort of special effects in!

Out of those options a tie between the hatch lighting up, and the Others taking Walt.
I still shudder thinking about that bit where Tom goes "We're gonna have to take the boy". Funny, because I love Tom now.

Yeah Tom is a pretty cool character. He has humor and a seriousness about him.

The season one cliffhanger pissed me off for that, I thought they were perverted pirates!

LMAO pirates? That would be classic, "gaarrrr, who goes there....." :D

"Yarr, we be needin the boy, ye scurvy swine!" :D hehe that'd have turned it into a real farce though :D

"Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake your own kind of music, siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing your own special song..." gets my vote! A total "WTF? Where are the losties?" moment!!! I actually thought it was someones flashback at first! :D

Aye, "Make your own kind of music" got my vote! I remember repeatedly checking to see if I was actually watching Lost, and hadn't accidentally procured a copy of something else!

However, I'd have to say my real favourite bit was the season 3 teaser. That was just great.

Now I dunno what I was missing out on, I don't watch the teasers, cuz they usually spoil too much!

For me it has to be Season 1, ep: In Translation when Damien Rice's "Delicate" is played on a pan of the beach. I'm a big DR fan, an absolute Lost junkie and the scene brings me to tears sometimes (24 year old lad :o ). Def the most moving scene of season 1 IMO and of the whole 3 seasons to date.

As for other great moments, i loved "?" in Season 2, the spirituality of the episode touched me. Any scenes involving Desmond and Penny also made my hairs stand up. Season 3, nearly every minute of "The Man from Tallahasee" .

Not sure about anyone else, but reflecting on the earlier seasons + episodes makes me want to watch them and reminds me why i love the show. Even though the general consensus is that there aren't enough answers to questions, the bottom line for me is Lost is an exceptionally crafted show, incredibly well acted imo if you compare it to its peers (24, The West Wing etc) it's as good as any of them for quality. The direction/writers have been questioned numerous times but even now i would find it fulfilling to watch all 3 seasons, and we're yet to explore the bulk of the mythology.....here's hoping i feel the same way when the show ends its run :)

    Well said that man!

There aren't enough hours in the day to go back and watch all the parts I'd want to rewatch! I find watching an old episode here and there, its like "Oh yeah! I'd totally forgotten about that!!!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,575 ✭✭✭ZiabR

Yeah agreed, i have forgotten some of my fav parts already. I really will have to sit down once its over and watch it again.

The teaser is just the bit before the opening credits, so I'm talking about the scene set in the Others camp, with the book club and everything.

Was this back before the third season started?

It's the very first scene of the third season.

Ah yes, i remember now :). You see the plane break apart and them all looking into the sky. We see Juliet crying "which at that time i thought she was laughing" and then her losing the head at someone from the book club.

Amen. I've been meaning to go back and watch the series from start to present for quite a while now but I haven't found the time, so much has happened we tend to forget how great it's been so far, I hope the writers keep up this run they're on at the minute because it's really started on a roll in the last 5 or 6 weeks, it's gathered great momentum.

I think they will mate, tomorrows ep looks amazing also. The writers seem to be on one hell of a run. :D

Ah, apologies! I thought you meant the *read in a deep voice*;) "Next week on Lost..." / "In the new season of Lost..." things! :D

That one was a great start to the season for the fans, because it was so similar to the great start of Season 2! And in both cases we were coming back to Lost dying to know what happened after the cliffhanger ending, only to be thrown a complete curveball! :D

Yeah, there was some fairly intense build-up to season 2, and the first episode was absolutely fantastic. However, my favourite moment was still Locke battering on the hatch door, and the light then coming on. I think it was his angry, distorted voice that really made it...

"I've done everything you asked me to do, so WHY did you do this? WWWHHHHYYYYY?"

    Genius.

I think another notable mention is the second Sawyer flashback where he shoots "Frank Sawyer". The entire episode was fantastic, but his conversation in the bar with Christian Shepherd was particularly great. Everytime Christian is featured, there always seems to be an intensity about the dialogue, similar to when Ben is on screen. Lets hope they're both featured a lot more!

    Every time Hurley says "Dude..."
    :D

Also, seeing the Smoke Monster and Mr Eko having a staring contest was cool.

Loved that and how they revisited it in Juliet's ep. was fantastic. It tied everything together.

I still love the finale of season 2 with the Portugesse guys and Penny. The first moment we were of the island in real time.

Yeah when we found out that Juliet was infact crying at the news her sisters cancer was back. Her belief in Ben dropped 10 fold when he told her.
