This one's really for the guys, although girls, feel free to let us know. :D

So Anyway, what's the longest anyone's gone without shaving, or trimming?
I haven't shaved since Sunday, when I last saw my girlfriend. I'll be seeing her again on June 13th (aww - long distance relationship), and was contemplating not shaving until then. How long will my beard be? I haven't decided yet, but i've not much better to do.

I didn't shave for a solid month or two in Summer 2005... just to see what it was like.

I was informed it wasn't a good look for me! :D

About 3 weeks here, couldn't stick it (pulls at collar) and just wasn't me.

Meh, not much more than a few days for a shave round the edges to keep it tidy. Then maybe once every two months I'd trim the beard.
Go for it though... beards ftw!

I grew a beard before for the laugh, didn't shave for 3-4 months although I did give it a little tidy up every now and then, so I don't know if that counts.

Well im still in secrondary school (5th year) and it seems to be uncommon for anyone to have any bit of a moustache or whatever so the longest ive gone is about 3 weeks and that was over the summer, plus im blonde and it dosnt look all to good , ah to have black facial hair...

Spent most of fifth and sixth year in school attempting to grow a smig. Vice-principal would usually nab me after about 2 weeks and tell me to shave. Think I managed three weeks once.

This year I had to let a smig grow for about 2 weeks - I had stitches in my lower lip, so shaving was a no-no, and just leaving a small patch of hair would have been gross, so I let the whole smig grow. Grew to about half an inch, and I was told it looked great. But my girlfriend didn't like the feel of it, so I'm back to baby-faced as I have been for the last seven years. That said, I usually only shave every 3-4 days, so my beard is always somewhere between fully shaven and 1/4 of an inch. Much longer than that and it gets stupidly itchy around the neck, so I can't stand it.

    I won't be winning this competition ...

4 days. It's just annoying after a while when you starting rubbing it and then it gets irritated. You don't want to damage the other half's face now either :D

Actually shaving? Probably about 3-4 months since I last did. But I trim regularly.

    About 16 years...i didn't really shave before puberty. :)

I shave once a week so theres is usually a period of looking rough.

2 weeks. The neckbeard wasn't a good look.

7 days (I know it's pathetic) at the minute and my face feels like it's on fire. I'll try hold out for a few more days.:D

Start a Beard Blog over on https://www2.blogger.com/start .... then you can look back on it.

Longest I went was 3 months and that was quite a beard. Usually if I grow a bbeard now I tend to shave the neck to be comfortable.

I had a gotee for 4 years without shaving it, then I got rid of it and I thought I looked fatter without it. So now I have it back and it's been about a year so far.

Went for 3 and a half weeks without shaving at all before, had a bit of a Moses beard going on. Then the missus said she wouldn't speak to me till I got rid of it :(

I wish you well daveyjose, but I must warn of the itchyness.. its a bitch ;)

The principal makes sure guys have shaved? Does that mean well-kept facial hair is a problem too or is it just the nacker-taches that land people in trouble?

ye when i was in school we would get in trouble if our facial hair was too long and our head hair too short.......i still went in bald almost always........

Six months I think. I won't be shaving til I finish my exams its a good luck move of sorts that worked during the xmas exams. There's enough to be worrying about without looking good!

About a week for me - it looked silly on me so I shaved it off.

I think its worse the first time, then you are either used to it or your face doesn't notice as much but its not as bad after the first time I think.

Think the most Ive ever gone is a few weeks. My beard comes in very patchy so at that stage it has to get the chop. Smig is much easier to manage aswell.

Neck itchiness is a killer, it gets progressively worse till one day it just annoys you the whole day, forcing you to shave whenever you get home.

I didnt have a wet shave for the last 3 years.
I go for the stubble look so its just a trim with the beard trimmer once a week.

    Don't know if that counts!

Couple of weeks, eventually had to shave because I occasionally use breathing apparatus kit in work and the face mask doesn't get an airtight seal with facial hair:(
