unable to connect with airport

Ok so yesterday my eircom connection went down, and i restarted the router thinking that was the problem. However it has since come back and I'm unable to connect on my macbook now. It just says "unable to connect", despite the fact every other laptop in the house can.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Try turning airport off and back on again. Then try re-connecting to the router. Maybe when you reset the router it's ip address changed and now your macbook can't find it. It's only a guess as I don't have any experience with Eircom's wireless router.

Yeah I've tried that. It sees the router alright, and if I use wep, it lets me enter the wep key, but I still get the same "unable to connect..." message.

It really is perplexing and annoying to have a connection just drop like that
