    Hi
I found a great book on Adobe photoshop elements fantasy images & special effects in Hodges Figgis, I was wondering did anyone know of a similar
book for CS2 ? or any online tutorials for these kind of effects =?

OR should the actions be the same in CS2 then elements ?
or is elements very different ?

    tk

I *think* that all of the stuff in elements is also in CS2, so there should be no problem translating. Elements is just like a pared down version with fewer tools, isn't it?

Pretty much all the tools available in Photoshop Elements are available in Photoshop. I'm guessing that the version in the book is probably 4.0 - in which case its a no-brainer. The latest version of PSE - 5.0 - has slightly different controls here and there.

There probably is an equivalent book for PS CS2 alright and with CS3 just out, books on CS2 *should* perhaps dropping in price.

By the way - anyone who has CS3 - what is it like processor wise? I just wiped clean and started over my computer and may consider a CS3 demo but if it's going to slow things down, I may hold on till a new computer is acquired...

    CS3 is definately not slower.

Huge improvement over CS2 and less bloated.

    I'm even considering buying it!
