hi , just wondering what music people listen to when driving their classic motors? Do they listen to the music of when the motor was in its day or what? i drive a 75 yank and remember the music of the 70s like it was yesterday, some of it was pure crap and other stuff was brilliant. Bowie was at his best:D , cockney rebel, stones, even slade and t rex . A one hit wonder that is still brilliant today as it was way back when was GOLDEN EARRINGS " RADAR LOVE" :) , and no i aint stuck in a time warp, some of the new stuff is brilliant to cruise to with windows down , amp up. like kings of leon , white stripes , the fantastic brilliant FUN LOVIN CRIMINALS  , and the brilliant ALABAMA 3....:D :D Just curious as to others preferences.

I can't hear anything in my MGBGT because of the racket out of the exhaust, so I tend not to bother stocking it with CDs - listen to Radio Na Life, or Phantom FM

In me other cars, some Andy Kershaw recordings, Beach Boys, They Might Be Giants, Alcatrazz, Los Straitjackets, Bambi Molestors, J Geils Band

Nothing specific to the car ;-)

I don't own a classic but if I owned a seventies British car I'd have Ian Dury and the Blockheads blasting out immortal lines such as:

"Arseholes, bastards, ****ing c*nts and pr1cks!"

    LOL :D

there's a good audio in my ride too. I listen to what I really like. I have about 6500 songs on my PC so I can find something nice form Metallica to for example J. Timberlake :D From 60s till now. I don't remember 70s music as it was yesterday because I'm not so "classic"... :D

While I don't have a classic unfortunatly :( , there is a few songs that I reckon would be good to listen too...

Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild
    Spiderbait - Black Betty
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama (good if you have an old Yank Tank :D )
    AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing (Live version is always better)
Neil Young - Rockin' In The Free World

There is many others I just can't think of at the moment, but any classic rock/metal and you can't go wrong.

hey junkyard dog, know what your sayin man, have a great sounding engine up front and rollin thunder from the exhausts , and then listening to THE BOSS singing THUNDER ROAD or RAMROD , or ZEP doing BLACK DOG and ROCK N ROLL it all justs adds to the whole thing,, magic. anyway keep the exhausts a thumpin and the V8s a rumblin.................. :D:D
