Garage on a Saturday?

    Hey,

My little scooter is not very well.

I have a Yamaha Ovetto, and yesterday it seized up on me through lack of oil.

I put some oil in it last night, and Its crawling along now at about 10miles an hour.

I had a mechanic take a look at it, he reckoned I need the exhaust cleaned, but didn't have time to fix it himself.

Does anyone know where I can find a garage that will be able to fix it for me over the weekend? (any ideas how much it would cost?)

I really need my scooter for Monday, I'll be totally lost without it.

All help will be seriously appreciated!

    Thanks

good luck, anytime i've had to had my moped repeaired i've had to book it in in advance. I've even had a hard time getting a new tyre at the weekend.

    where are you located?

Whitehall, Dublin, but I would find a way, some way, of getting to any mechanic that thought they could fix it for me by Monday.

Well I don't know anything about garages in town but if you can get out to him you could try Paul Mainey in H&M in Greystones, he is open on saturdays you can give him a ring and see if he can help you out

Cheers for the link. Found one in Dorset St that opens on Saturday. Now I just have to hope that its an easy enough job to fix!

Took it to a garage today, wont get it back till Monday. Your man reckoned it was the piston, but wouldn't/couldn't quote me a price till he knew for sure.
Anyone got an idea of how much it should cost? Just so I have an idea.

    Thanks
