    hi people-

can anyone recommend some good yoga or a yoga studio in dublin 3 or 5 or somewhere bikable from Clontarf dart station? I am moving to that area and would like to get myself on a schedule and have some relaxation.

Or if you are in that area and would like to organize more yoga classes in the area, please let me know.

    thanks! Hillevi

I would be interested in joining a class in Clontarf too. Has to be a good one though. I have been to too many bad ones.

What type of yoga do you like?

Ashtanga, vinyasa, strenuous ....I am used to NYC yoga, more sweaty than most here.

But I really want a regular class of any type, and would love to get something good happening in Clontarf area.

    I might try http://www.yogadublin.com/
    in city centre, supposedly good.

    best- hillevi

Ashtanga would be my weapon of choice. I haven't been to a class since before Christmas purely because I haven't found a good one.I really miss it. There used to be a brilliant class in St Gabriels on Wednesdays. It was run by Emma (Stafford) I think. Since then I have only been to very low impact classes with about 30 mins drivel on nutrition etc at the end.

I like a serious work out as well.

Will look into getting something happening in Clontarf area.
Would love Ashtanga a few mornings a week, I'll see what I can do.

I was going to elbow room near stoneybatter, but thats a ways away. I am will try their 11 am Ashtanga tomorrw Sunday morn though.

Haven't a clue about yoga, but I know an instructor who teaches in the "Walmar center" in Raheny. Its right above SuperValu on the Howth road in Raheny.

I am a beginner having private 1 on 1 classes in my apartment in Clontarf basically as a first resort to address sleeping problems.

I'm very impressed so far. I get the impression that she really considers deeply which poses are beneficial and of course also emphasises the general holistic approach of yoga.

Any further info PM by all means.

I've just signed up to a new yoga class in Dancetones in Newbridge, may be a bit far out but well worth it. It's on Monday nights and starts on the 7th Sept 2009 and its only €60 for six week beginners course. You can email Sara on SaraYogaClass@gmail.com

or if you are in town I also recommend Melt in Temple Bar on a Wednesday evening.
