In fairness, 5k for a custom shop strat, relic'd by a legend like Yngwie ain't too bad a deal given the insane glabal guitar market. Put that ****er in the attic and let it get more expensive.

It's been up for a few days with zero bids, plus the fact that the seller can't date it (and therefore can't id is as a Jap/Mexican/US manufactured Strat) means that I think it won't meet it's reserve.

Its a custom shop strat made specifically for the Yng, if it was any other strat (Mex, US, Jap), it would be easily dateable.

I don't doubt the legitimacy of the guitar tbh, not if he's offering photos of Yngwie writing a letter of authenticity, though i do think its a bit daft to sell something so expensive with a lowish feedback score like that..:rolleyes:
