My own personal jesus

Seeing that this is easter week, is as good a time as any to write what i am about to write, as i have no guarantee that i will be around this time next year to write it, I am talking about my own personal jesus, i know johonny cash covered that song, but i prefer his own jesus style song man in black,

Ok a lot of people i know dont beleive in jesus/god or a here after, and will laugh @ you or ridicule you over your beleifs,

I beleive in jesus/god not because someone told me he was there, or what i read,

I beleive from my own personal expericenes, way back in my long haired younger days i expericened what john paul 2 would call the look of love to,or bob dillon a shot of love to, a feeling of the loveing presence of who i beleived to be jesus christ,

I felt him so near i could almost put my hand in his, this happened in a crowded night club, i know you could say that was just good vibes from other people, but i also felt that loveing presence when i was all alone,

Being a catholic you were brought up to attend mass and receive jesus christ in holy communion,. right i know the catholic church has got a lot of bad press for ovious reasons,

But i know for my own good i need to receive jesus christ in holy communion,

I can understand now why the irish of old back in the penal days would not give up their faith, the mass rocks all around the country are a visible reminder of their beleifs which they suffered for,

Patrick Pearse the founder of our state had strong christian beleifs,

    Talking about life here after,

Dan Breen in his book my fight for irish freedom, said he knew sean tracey was dead (in the physical sence my words) before anyone told him, as he appeared to him,

To quote jim morrison we live we die and yet death does not kill us, i will end with jims prayer,

Oh great creator of being grant us one more hour to perfect our art and our lives,

    ned

You reckon you could be perfect if given just one hour? That's pride surely.

    Anyway, happy believing djeddy! :)

To quote the late, great Eamon Dunphy, "hold it right dere!".

A night club? Please don't think that I'm doubting your own particular mystic experience, but were you under the influence?

Two great things Buddhism thought me were a) to discount any mystical experiences had while under the influence of drink and/or drugs and b) to look to within for the answers and not latch onto romantic figures of the past.

...and what this whole tread is doing under Creative Writing is another matter alltogether.

I think it's very creative, particularly the spelling and punctuation.
