    I have it on the 360. It's a bit of a let-down.

I'm tempted to pick this up, but reviews of it have been mixed. I'm more interested in what it's like in multiplayer though. Once I finish Marvel: Ultimate Alliance I'm going to trade it in for another game. FEAR is out next week so I'll probably go for that.

What do you make of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance?

It's enjoyable enough, like an old school scrolling beat 'em up. Bit repetitive but if you liked X-Men Legends II you'll like this, almost exactly the same. The graphics aren't stellar or anything. It's absorbing enough and the fact that your heroes level up and stuff keeps you playing. There's never anyone online with it though, so don't buy it expecting big online co-op matches or anything. I like it because it gives me a break from my other games because I wanted a different type of story game for inbetween online sessions, but if I was buying only one game with my PS3 I wouldn't go for it. I'd give it around 7/10. There are a few side missions and other things to be unlocked, so if you really want it will last you an extra couple of weeks. It's definitely for people who miss the old side-scrolling beat-em ups, the RPG element really only comes into the character abilities and powers etc. If you're a comic fan you'll get a bit more out of it.

    Thanks for that.

blazing angels is a bit meh! to be honest.

I thought the PS3 motion sensing controls would add to the game and rise it above the average game it was on the 360, but in fact they are pretty much crappy and tacked on - leaving the game in the same conumdrum as the 360 version.

bland, insipid, but will pass a few hours - if only it was a budget release and not €70.
