Ive terribly scratched my laptop, but other than that its grand. Is there somewhere I could get is sprayed or some giant sticker to cover it up? (Its just the lid, dell latitude D600)

One of the guys on boards ( antoinolachtnai ) setup a company selling large stickers to customise your laptop. Not sure what the webiste is though.

You could also just get another original cover:
