I wonder do we have the makings of a second "purge" perhaps Juliet has second thoughts and tips them off...Im probably way off the mark.

they've really picked lost up in my opinion and i think if they keep this up until the end of the season, season 3 could rival season 1.

It's been one of the most epic sounding compositions in recent times. It's become ever so cliched as of late though as it makes almost every trailer look brilliant only for us to often be let down!

Hopefully 3x17 won't leave us down though!

I think that promo actually contains clips from several upcoming episodes and just 3x17. Locke is not going to be back till 3x19.

Wasn't that the first time Hurley found the cable, when he was going to find Danielle? He asked Sayid how he found and he told Hurley cable. Hurley then found it, followed it and came across Danielle.

Desmond seemed reluctant to tell Hurley more so I'm thinking thats what it was> It already happened so it wouldn't "change the picture on the box" by telling Hurley about it.

I could be wrong though. This is Lost after all.

I got the feeling that Desmond didnt want to tell Hurley, because he thought that something good was going to happen? And surely to do with his girlfriend? Whether or not it will be bad for the rest of the losties though, I cant guess!

Hurley sets off the sonar and his gf picks up the signal and the chopter in the flashback is her dads buddies coming to finish desmond off because he isnt good enough for her!

Monster blows up the chopper and you now have another group of losties. They fight it out untilt he end etc. etc. (p.s they take the camp)

- something "momentous" is gonna happen in 3x17 (promo has already given this away)
- there are no hidden clues/questions in the pilot episode—just Charlie's "Guys, where are we?"
- Smokey may be attached to the ground and can't jump over the fence

Smokey may be underground and the Smoke we see is only a small part of the real smokey.
