Builders Poker stars and women!

    Right,

I've been having huge problems with Pokerstars for about 6 month's now.

If a flop drops I disconnect, If I go all in or act very quickly everything is ok, but if I stall for a few seconds or a flop comes I get disconnected and don't reconnect untill the hand is over (very f*cking annoying) it's been my home for a long time now.

The missus has decided on a summer project to build an extension on the house which will include me looking at the cracks of builders arses for a few weeks, to add to the pain I may have to donate a fair chunk of my bank roll to it, so i'm in a legal battle trying to hold on to about 4-5k so I'm not in total ruin.

So the next thing I want to do is find a new home, I don't really keep an eye on any of the other networks or skins or RB deals.

I've been playing mostly 2/4 3/6 and want to get back here as soon as I can, I haven't played any tournaments really in about 6 month's putting in so many hours cash with work was really making me play like a donkey in tournaments I still haven't found how to switch between the two.

So I'm looking for a decent network/skin with as many donkeys as possible, a half decent RB deal and if possible decent strcutured meduim buy-in tournaments.

    All recommendations apreciated!

Software on UB is good, apart from no resizeable tables. Rakeback and 100% signup bonus available there. Decent player base (around 20k at times) with plenty of tournies scheduled. I don't really play much holdem on it to be honest, and not at that level, so don't know what standard to expect, but there are bound to be some donkeys around.

I thought this was optional not compulsory..;)

Although I have not played it yet the Mansion 100k is apparantly a fish fest and they are offering 36% RB currently.

    laddies, GJP or Mansion IMO.

Don't think you'll get RB on laddies but cash is soft and the tournament structures are great.

GJP is perfet for cash and tournaments, but some people have problems with connections. It only affects a small percent of people. Its based on the server you connect to and your ISP determines that. If you are not affected you'll have 100% connection but if you start having problems i'd either move to another site or change post code until they sort out the rogue ISP/reuter/Server or whatever is causing the problems.

Mansion is great but they only have 9 handed cash and only 1 tournament which is a $100+9 100k GTD which is sometimes on twice a day. huge overlays though, 1k deposit bonus, half the players don't know what game they are playing and the software is good.

I would also consider Prima, um I mean Microgaming network, they have loads of cash tables and some of the biggest rakeback deals. No matter where you go you will find easier opposition than Stars at those levels, but you probably won't enjoy the software quite as much. Oh and as for your disconnection problems, Stars did have some small problems recently, but as you are describing your last 6 months of problems I would say it isn't the fault of Stars at all, I've haven't had these problems with it during that period.

I don't think it's a star's issue per say but there's definitley an issue with eithier one of my ISP's upstream provider's around europe/US I've tried everything with the software and have no other networking issue's
