Booked some internal flights in China with www.elong.net after much difficulty with their website and call centre.

Has anyone booked with them? They sent us a confirmation email with dead links to our e-ticket. Money yet to come off the credit card after 6 weeks.....should I start getting worried?

Have been in touch with them but can't seem to get a straight answer in regard to their procedures

I've heard of them, not used them..but in fairness, if the website and call centre were causing you so much trouble, that would have been ringing alarm bells with me from the start.

You could try asking about elong on a more specialist forum, like this one over at Flyertalk. Some knowledgeable folk there might shed some light on it all for you.

I used these guys to get from Beijing to Shenzhen last year. Cost about €200. Prices were not the best, but commpetitive all the same. I went through their website, then paid their money in their office in Beijing. I had absolutely no problem with them. Any e-companies in China would not be at the cutting edge of tech, but I found them ok.

I had severla changes to my flights, and they were very accomodating.

I would email them immediately, if you haven't done so. I was in telephone contact from inside China, and they seemed ok. Hope that helps.

I used them for about 6/7 internal flights while in China last year. The prices are a LOT cheaper when you book from inside the country. We were averaging 30-50 euro per leg.

It didn't usually take more than a week for the money to come off our cards, but they usually wouldn't book/confirm the flight until they spoke to us on the phone and got us to confirm all our details, from our name & D.O.B to our cc number - even after putting all this information on the online booking form.

What flight are you booking? I'd nearly cancel and rebook when you get to China ...
