Just wondering if anyone knows of any hotels in ireland with apartments attached.
We have stayed in hotels in Ireland before with 2 kids and the rooms are just so cramped. We would still like to have the leisure facilities but maybe in an apartment type room with seperate bedrooms and maybe small kitchen.

Has anyone stayed in this sort of accommadation, have any recommendations?

    Thanks.

the quality hotel in Youghal, Cork have appartments, as well as rooms and houses, all on site. The food was excellent, good leisure facilities, 1 min from the beach and really child friendly, highly recommend it

    Thanks Enright,
Looks really good, just what we are after. Gonna give them a call and see if I can get a 3 or 4 day deal.
    Cheers

    Thanks for the recommendations.
We stayed in the Days Inn last year. It was really child friendly, good facilities and locations, but we were just on top of each other in the room. It would have been nice to have an extra room for putting the kids for a nap etc. The apartments in the Quality look just the job. We booked Youghal for 4 nights in May. Looking forward to it.

I know it may be too late for this time, bit we stay (with 2 small children) in Quality Hotel Killarney in the 2 Bed appartments, which are great for kids. Been there 5 times in last 2 years and are very happy with the setup there. They also have houses which look good.

THe Clarion in Sligo has a number of appartments and suites wirh two bedrooms. Also some of the third level colleges have student appartments which can be rented for holidays during the summer season. Many of these are very good as the accomodatoin is only new.
