An X1650 Pro should not need a power cable

You certain it has a power connection on it what brand/make is the card ?

I'm actually pretty sure some but not all X1650Pros do need a power cable....maybe it's only the AGP version?

Heres two pics of the connector in question (shes an AGP by the way)

its like a mini molex connector

Ah I see that's the old style power connector that you can find on floppy drives.

You should be able to find that cable or an adapter on any molex power splitter cables as usually they also added a connection for the floppy drive.

Does card work without it though as I checked the manual and could not see any reference to it.
