browser windows takes ages to open?.

    just noticed on my laptop that when i go to open internet explorer it takes 5 mins to open,sometimes says not responding.
    i have avg anti virus software and avast,so i don,t think i have a virus on my laptop.

    tried reinstalling windows internet explorer 7 and am still getting trouble with browser windows taking ages to open and load,any help would be much appreciated cheers.

    If you have two AV scanners trying to scan whats coming down the line, thats going to be a bottle neck in itself. Choose one, lose the other.

    yea uninstall one of those programs. make sure your not using two firewalls or two anti-spyware real time protection programs as well. tell us how its running after that. bound to be some malware if IE is taking 5mins to load.
