even 40 mins at peak times, have seen it done at 28 mins off peak, depends on the driver too.. some are alot slower than others.. i.e wont give it full throttle on naas road etc

"some are alot slower than others"

I've noticed that a fair bit in the city centre too.

Unfortunitly they don't get to dedcide how fast they go, they are set by a rolling timetable system telling them to slow own or go faster, ......................so I'm told!within the speed limits of course

I have noticed at weekends the trams stay at stops a lot longer and there is announcements like "stand clear of doors, doors are about to close" where the normal weekday trams have a beeping sound and the doors close a lot faster.

Apart from differences at weekends the journey between heuston and Busáras can take anything from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the driver with drivers catching the tram in front or having the tram behind catch up with them.

Heuston - Red Cow is 20 minutes approx and the hotel is less than 10 minutes of a walk from the platform.

You'ld be better getting the tram from busaras as there are trams from the point that don't serve Connolly
