I have a PSP and i've used the net on that alot but just having no little stylus to type or anything like that just wrecks my head.

Has anyone used the DS Internet browser, any positive/negative feedback would be great, thanks : )

I have the ds browser and i feel that it is very underrated.
Most of the reviews say that it is very slow but I think they load at a very reasonable speed, and if you disable images then it only takes a few seconds.

The big difference between the DS browser and the PSP browser is Flash support. DS can't do Flash movies and some other technologies but it can do most of the important stuff so you should be able to check email or post on forums with it I think.

Whats it like to type on? Is there like a small touch screen keyboard thingy?

I don't have it myself but AFAIK it features both hand writing recognition and an onscreen, touchscreen keyboard so you have the choice.

You can check out what features it has on Operas website.

I wasn't aware that there was such a thing as a DS Browser. Do I need some sort of addon to use it ?

You have to buy it in a shop for about 30-45 Euro I think. It comes with an add on memory pack that goes into the GBA slot so you can store all the images on web pages and the like.

Cheers Brim4brim, like an R4DS pack ? My mate got one last week.

Well basically its like this image:

    dslite-cartridge.png

It uses both slots unfortunately. One is memory and the other is the software. The DS card is the Opera software and the GBA one is the memory for webpages.

Really I found my DS just connected to wireless no problem in the slightest which is more than I can say for the psp (which wasnt all that difficult either)

    what exactly is the problem?

I just dont like the idea of how small the screen would be.. I rather go online on my Wii.. thats more enjoyable..

I keep getting the 51300 Error, which "apparently" means its somthing to do with the WEP code, but i've entered it correctly so many times.

When i search for wireless I pick up my Home one with green bar strength signal, but when its testing the connection its just red with no bars. Its very frustrating, Ive tired everything on the nintendowifi website says to do and on various other forums. My router is an SMC2804WBR, Which, according to nintendowifi.com is a compatible router.

No i havn't, i'll try that now. Still, it should be able to auto pick up and all that

I had to set mine up manually as I was using a wireless switch and needed to tell it route through my routers IP.

Just tried that there. Didnt work either. Its very odd, my PSP works grand all over the house, but the DS seems to have black spots around the house picking up the signal, the router is in my room, if i put the DS near it, it stil doesnt pick it up, but if i ly down on my bed.. it picks it up :P ah im sure i'll sort it out soon : )
