You gotta think that after this, character issues will play a much bigger role in the draft this year. In the past, teams were sometimes prepared to take a gamble on a gifted athlete, even if he had problems off the field, but how many teams will want to do this with high round picks, if they face the prospect of possibly losing the player for months due to suspension.

And teams will figure that if a guy can't stay out of trouble as a student, then giving them a multi million dollar contract and expecting them to be transformed into a saint, is a total non-runner.
