One of the greatest concerts ever staged is going to be recreated in Galway on Friday Apr 13th in The Blackbox, anyone interested in a night of good music and entertainment in a friendly atmosphere won't be disappointed.
Tickets are €20 and available from the Town Hall Theater, www.ticketlord.com or on the door.

The Last Waltz was one of the most spectacular concerts ever staged in rock history. Recorded in 1976 in a movie by Martin Scorsese, it remains one of the most memorable moments in music history. The farewell concert for the group known as "The Band", it was a party for the biggest names in rock at the time. It included luminaries such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Dr.John, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Ringo Star, Ronnie Wood and Muddy Waters.

To mark the 30th anniversary of this night, a recent show at Campbell's Tavern in Headford Co. Galway sold out as people gathered to celebrate this night. This rock spectacular is brought to you once again by local artists La, La, La, Without George, Noelie McDonnell, Ulick from Cartoon Thieves, Mouse McHugh and a host of special guests.

This is an independantly organised event.
