Anybody out there know where I can get my hands on a new H.P. IQ770 in the Mayo/Sligo/Galway area.Don't even mention P.C. World...Totally useless!! Also, anyone who has one of these p.cs, how do you find them? I want one for regular home use (web, email, gaming, music and video etc).

Thanks for replying so quickly HavoK; I have tried both the Sligo & Galway branches for the last 7 weeks with no joy. I got through to their HQ in Dublin earlier today where a woman told me that they were completely out of stock in the whole country because they only got them in in limited numbers as a trial, and they weren't expecting there to be so high of a demand for them due to the high price. She told me they were expecting more stock sometime in THEIR first quarter (May-July!), but she didn't know when in that quarter; so it could be 3 weeks time or 3 months' time!! The thing is, why do they advertise something as being on sale both in their stores and via their website and then when you go and try to buy this item, it's a case of Sorry, we don't actually have any of those in stock; can I interest you in one of these instead?"
Then you try the manufacturer's website; they do sell online via their U.K. website, but only to addresses in the U.K. The Irish H.P. site doesn't offer an online buying facility.Curry's? I wouldn't be over confident in their after sales service on computers. All the smaller local computer retailers have the same tale re. stock.

Thanks Tony; unfortunately, they don't seem to have the item in stock. They seem more geared towards the business and component ends of the market. Thanks anyway.
