Linderman Theory *SPOILERS for Ep 1x18 and Graphic Novel #28*

    If you've been following the online graphical novels (available here), you'll know the more recent ones tell the story of two soldiers named Petrelli and Linderman on a top-secret mission during the Vietnam war. Petrelli is the father of Peter & Nathan and Linderman is presumably the Vegas crime boss. Linderman has the power to heal wounds on other people and he uses it to save Petrelli's life. When they get back to base, Linderman denies having any powers and no-one believes Petrelli.

    This shows that the links between Linderman and the Petrelli family go back a long way. More importantly, it shows that Linderman has powers of his own (if that is him in the novels). Linderman has been looking for people like himself for a long time now - maybe he's behind the Company or maybe he has his own alternative version of it.

    Any thoughts?

    I came across a potentially huge spoiler which if true will result in Heroes losing any sort of credibility it once had.

    Warning: Potential Spolier for Series 1 Main Story
    The main story seems to be directly stolen from one of the biggest comic books of the past 20 years.

    I thought as much when he said to Nathan that many people had tried to kill him before... I suspected the healing then! But I had thought it'd be more like Claires healing, not healing other people! (Maybe Claire can do this too but doesn't know it yet?)

    Claire already has the power to heal me - seeing her on screen makes me smile dreamily and gives me a wonderful sense of well-being. :)

    The power to heal other people is an unusual one for a villain to have. Maybe we'll find out that Linderman isn't as bad as he seems. He was fairly idealistic when he was younger in the comics. It will be interesting to find out what changed him.
